CPHC Annual Conference 2009

The conference will continue the theme of employer engagement from last year and is being held in London again in order to maximise employer input. Day one will address CPHC issues such as RAE/REF metrics, QAA Benchmark and provide updates on CPHC research and future direction.
Day two will again be a joint event with the BCS on a series of themed sessions with academics, industrialists and politicians on "SMEs and Innovation", "Creative Industries", "Locate-IT and Networking", and "e-skills UK RevitaliseIT project".
The keynote speech will by given by Malcolm Harbour, Member of the European Parliament for the West Midlands, UK on the European Internet Foundation, IT skills in Europe, and initiatives to support the European Knowledge Economy in the current economic climate.
